Reflecting on...."Is Anything TOO HARD for God?

Ever since I was a young girl, I have always loved sermon time. No sermon would be too long for me to pay attention to. I was content to sit beside my grandmother (my favorite church partner) and listening intently. I'm sure God knew that my adult life would be filled sermons, and I would never be bored or need a watered- down message from the preacher.
This past Sunday our pastor preached on Genesis 18: 20-33. Asking the question, " Is Anything Too Hard for God?"
It was an inspiring message and even though it's the middle of the week I'm still reflecting on what the Holy Spirit said through him.
Passages such as Jeremiah 32:17; Job 42:2; Luke 1:37; and Psalm 25:4 helped us make the connection that God is not only a providing and loving God, but also a God who has all power in His hands and it's impossible to have a problem, challenge or trouble that is greater than God.
I'm sure I was not the only one who needed to be reminded that there isn't anything God cannot do or accomplish in our lives or upon this earth. We know this, but when life starts coming at us hard and fast, it's easy to forget. It's easy to think our problems and troubles are unique and somehow God has never seen or tackled our kind of trouble or problem before. Easy to feel as though the mountain in front of us cannot be climbed or the trouble cannot be worked through.
Pastor's sermon helped me put our personal problems and the church's challenges into proper perspective. I found myself asking God to help me retain what I was hearing so as I entered my week and faced those troubles,
I would not lose sight of this awesome truth that can be transformative for my life and faith.
I'm always overjoyed to be reminded that God sees I'm nothing but a fragile, fallible human (Psalm 104:14) and stumble this way at times. His forgiveness and patience is endless, and I praise Him for that!
We can all take comfort in being reminded from Genesis to Revelation that our God is great, greatly to be praised and nothing is too hard for Him. I invite you to come and visit with us and hear these awesome messages in person. If you can't be here with us watch our service on Livestream or YouTube.
Have a blessed week.
